VENDOR.DOC file, then you may not give this utility to others
without permission from HomeCraft software.
This utility is used to convert information in an OYC catalog
to all upper case, or upper and lower case (with the first
letter of each word capitalized).
DISCLAIMER: This utility was developed for internal use by
HomeCraft in creating catalogs of pre-entered information.
There is no warranty and we do not provide technical support
for this utility. It is provided only because some people
may find it helpful.
This utility may be used with OYC catalog files created by any
of the following software:
ORGANIZE! Your Collection (DOS Version)
ORGANIZE! Your Collection (Windows Version)
ORGANIZE! Your Collection (Windows Multimedia Version)
ORGANIZE! Your... (all shareware versions)
ORGANIZE! Your... (all lite versions)
The FIXCASE.EXE file must be copied to the same drive and directory
where the OYC.EXE file is located. It will not work if placed in
any other directory.
To use this utility go to the DOS prompt for the directory
containing the OYC.EXE file, type FIXCASE, and push ENTER. This
utility may be run in Windows by using the "RUN" option on the
files menu.
When the utility starts you will be prompted to enter the name of
the catalog you want the utility to work on. If the catalog is
on another drive or in another directory, you can also enter the
drive and path. (Do not enter a filename extension, only enter
the name of the catalog).
The next screen shows a list of the lines (fields) in the
specified catalog, with a letter next to each line. Push a
capital letter to select a line to be converted to all upper
case and a lowr case letter to select lines to be converted
to upper and lower case. You may select as many lines as you
wish. Then push F6 to start the conversion.
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF YOUR CATALOG BEFORE
USING THIS, OR ANY OTHER, UTILITY TO MODIFY THE CATALOG.
